Your visit will begin with a consultation with Dr. Allen, where he will review of your health history, ask appropriate questions and determine what additional tests need to be performed.
Depending on your condition, x-rays will help us determine the cause of your complaints. We want to be certain when dealing with your health. Vertebrae move in many different directions, so it’s important to be careful with what we do. These images are also a useful tool in developing the most effective treatment for you, and can alert us of any serious spinal conditions. Most people are amazed once they see their x-rays up close and in some cases can even identify where their problems are coming from.
After your consultation, Dr. Allen will complete a thorough chiropractic examination. Standard orthopedic and neurological tests will be performed as well as any other tests that may help in understanding your condition. However, nothing will be done in our office without your prior consent.
At the conclusion of this initial appointment, if appropriate, a relief treatment will be given to help you start feeling better. This may include spinal adjustments, light stretching, or electrotherapy. Treatment is interactive and we invite you to share your prior experiences of Chiropractic with us, so that we may be able to give you the best experience and most comfortable treatment approach.
Once all the information is collected and reviewed, Dr. Allen will give you a detailed report of all findings and answer any questions you have, including:

• How long until I feel better?
• What kind of treatment will I need?
Dr. Allen understands the importance of your health and should your condition require treatment that this office cannot provide, he will gladly make a recommendation to an appropriate physician that can better assist you with your condition.
